Howard Lawrence Preston is the architect for the house. He is one of the apprentices that studied directly under Frank Lloyd Wright. Architect also completed other projects for the home, such as the entry way into the Pontiac Press (now the Oakland Press newspaper). Great rental income for those that wish to use as a rental when not using personally. Dune grass was planted where there was some lost bluff foliage due to neighbor not having any bluff protection but now neighbors have bluff protection.
